Charitable Institute Switzerland is a Charity dedicated to Biodiversity, the Advancement of Human Dignity, and Scientific Research. To achieve our mission, we operate a Volunteer Center and function as a global Think Tank.
We serve as an engine for clarity. We believe that to make real progress—whether in ecological survival or human well-being—we must move beyond temporary sentiments. We provide the evidence, the structure, and the narratives necessary to build lasting consensus and protect human value.
The Heritage of Independence
We are situated in the mountains high above Oberägeri, overlooking the Alps, an Alpine lake, and the historic site where the foundations of the Swiss Confederation were laid in 1315.
Operating from this breathtaking and historic landscape, our mandate in Switzerland is strictly non-partisan. We do not engage in party politics. Instead, we act as a patron for ideas and a protector of the future. We foster projects that:
Restore Biological Integrity: By advocating for empirical biodiversity management worldwide, prioritizing ecosystem survival over sentimental environmentalism.
Protect Vulnerable Populations: By translating cultural narratives to end harmful practices like FGM and securing the rights of women and children.
Correct Scientific Misunderstandings: By supporting radical new theories in Physics that move our understanding of the universe forward.
A Network of Global Influence
While we focus on Biodiversity, Science, and the Advancement of Human Dignity, we recognize that some challenges require active political advocacy. For issues related to geopolitical conflict, direct critiques of monetary systems, or activism against tyranny, we collaborate closely with our Sister Organization in Iceland. This partnership allows us to specialize in our respective strengths—the Swiss entity providing the intellectual bedrock and humanitarian focus, while the Icelandic entity engages in the necessary political debates on the front lines.
Our work is defined by a commitment to the long view. Whether examining the origins of the universe or the integrity of a local ecosystem, we apply a methodology of rigor and "Goodwill."
1. Ecological Integrity: Biodiversity without Sentimentality
True conservation requires difficult choices. We champion Ecological Realism over the "Disneyfication" of nature.
The Approach: Under www.biodiversity.vision, we demonstrate that well-intentioned protectionism (like recycling plastic or saving individual cute animals) is ineffective alone. Real success requires systemic habitat management. We look at the hard data of species competition—understanding that sometimes, to save diversity, we must manage populations rather than letting nature run wild in a disrupted system.
The Goal: Our aim is to significantly reduce the extinction of species through policies grounded in biological fact, not fundraising emotion. (Scientists estimate we are losing around 100 species per day, so this is an acute problem).
2. Foundational Science: The Cosmos & Climate
We act as a patron for scientific thought that dares to question the standard models. We provide a platform for research that might be too paradigm-shifting for traditional academic funding.
Cosmology: We are supporting the publication of the Magnusson Theory of Refractive Cosmology. This comprehensive framework challenges the "Dark Matter" consensus, offering a logical, mechanical model for the origin, size, and behavior of the universe.
Paleoclimatology (The Shift to Greenland): Our work on the "Shift to Greenland" theory proposes a corrected geographical history of the last Ice Age. By establishing a more precise timeline of the Earth's past mechanics, we aim to make the climate change debate less vulnerable to skepticism, strengthening the models used to predict our future.
3. Human Dignity & Cultural Narrative
We believe that you cannot improve the human condition solely through laws; you must reach the culture.
Human Rights & Women's Rights: We lead a global educational initiative to end Female Genital Mutilation, acting as staunch defenders of Human Rights and Women's Rights. We argue that you cannot just legislate culture away; you must narrate it away.
The Tool: We produced a deep narrative fiction that explains the harm of this tradition from the inside. Translated into 15 languages, and available as Audiobooks to bypass literacy barriers, this tool reaches families in their own language, offering a blueprint for change based on understanding rather than judgment (www-somalia.com).
4. The Condition of Vitality
We conduct a "Common Sense" audit of modern health, looking for the environmental and social causes of suffering that commercial medicine often overlooks.
The Autism Puzzle: We investigate the patterns of Autism and the profound damage done to youth by the lack of human connection, moving the conversation from pharmaceutical management to social reintegration.
Men's Health Crisis: Inspired by the tragedy of the legendary Icelandic strongman Jon Páll Sigmarsson, we document the hidden epidemic of Anabolic Steroids and the phenomenon of Bigorexia (Muscle Dysmorphia). We advocate for valuing men beyond their utility and physical size.
Modern Addiction: We analyze the impacts of the "Quick Fix" society—from the unknown risks of trending slimming drugs to the social isolation of online gaming—asking the questions that manufacturers prefer to leave unanswered.
Independent thought requires independent space. We do not operate from a corporate office; we operate from a sanctuary designed for clarity and discourse.
Alp Casa: The Observatory (alp.casa)
Our headquarters is located high above Oberägeri, sitting at an altitude of approximately 1,000 meters.
The Perspective: We are situated above the "Fog Line." While the cities below are often shrouded in grey, our center looks out into clear air, offering a simultaneous view of the Alps and the Lake.
The History: This building sits overlooking Morgarten, where the foundations of the Swiss Confederation were laid in 1315. It is a location permeated with history, serving today as a European Think Tank hub where scientists, writers, and volunteers come to work on our projects.
Efficiency via Shared Responsibility
We respect the resources entrusted to us. To maximize our impact, we maintain a "Zero-Waste" operational philosophy. Our community of residents and visiting thinkers manage the facilities themselves.
By cleaning up after themselves and contributing to the maintenance of the sanctuary, our community keeps the center partially self-sustaining. Thus, any funding we receive is better used to keep the volunteer centers running, to enable us to do research, and to drive our all-important communication campaigns.
How to Participate
We invite you to join this tradition of Swiss humanitarianism.
1. Stay and Visit
We are not a closed fortress. You are welcome to visit us, stay with us, and see our work first-hand. Whether you are a researcher drafting a theory, a creative seeking focus, or a traveler wanting to experience the Alps responsibly, you are welcome to stay with us. Your presence supports the maintenance of the Institute.
2. Volunteer
We require diverse talents to keep the engine running. We welcome thinkers, creative individuals, and media experts to help refine our intellectual assets. We equally welcome those willing to assist with mundane tasks and deep cleaning. We often find that our most valuable team members are those willing to help with both mundane and creative things. In our view, maintaining the structure that houses the idea is as noble as the idea itself.
3. Spread the Word
You can help us significantly simply by highlighting our work. Please forward the findings and topics with which you agree to your network. In the information age, sharing knowledge is a form of philanthropy.
4. Financial Support (The Dedicated Mandate)
Our work in scientific research and human dignity is ambitious. To expand the scope of our audiobooks, publish our scientific theories, and maintain the volunteer center, we rely on partners.
